Players of the Week

Offensive Player of the Week:

  • Don Perkins, Washington. Don carried the ball 19 times for 135 yards and 3 rushing touchdowns in the Beauracrats stomping of the Indians. He also caught four passes for 28 yards.

Defensive Player of the Week:

  • Lee Roy Caffey, Cincinnati. Lee Roy led the Bengals’ defensive unit. He amassed 17 tackles on the day and collected an interception that was returned for 32 yards.

Special Teams Player of the Week:

  • North Dallas Special Teams Unit. The entire special teams were on fire for the Bulls as it recovered a fumble on a punt return, recovered a fumble on a kickoff return, and compiled two blocked punts.
